I feel the same way, sometimes. What happens is that we all love to read scandal, gossip, etc. the bad and very little of the 'good Samaritans', etc. But there is much good in the world too. I'm proud to be from the same country as Bill Gates, a man who, along with his wife, set up probably the largest charitable foundation in human history! Think how much they are helping others!!! out of all the bad that goes on here and aboard, there are good they just don't report it. Today someone dropped a tear and there was a shoulder it landed on. Today someone lost a home and gained a family lost a friend and gained strength you/we havegot to know that it is truly all in divine order and that now in November for us somewhere for someone else it is May........much love to you Karla there will be better days ;)

Where's the positive? November is a time for reflection about what was, is and shall be - like the spiritual reminder of the upcoming season - Christ's birth. I can appreciate your sadness, but you JUST have to look for the silver lining. Otherwise, it will wear you down and life will be bleak. I have an extra pair of rose-colored glasses that I can let you have.

Karla, you have a knack of saying so much in few words. Sometimes I think, "WILL it change?" While we laud America as being the greatest country in the world, I have to say it truly is; however, the problems lie not in our country but in our countrymen who bankrupt this countries natural resources,who distribute drugs and destroy the lives of young people, parents who neglect to teach their children proper conduct, standards of behavior and morals, lawbreakers, and many many more reason that room doesn't allow here.

Karla, I know just where you're coming from with this. It's frustrating to see all that's happening today and still have a positive outlook. Keep your faith in God strong girl. So much of what's happening in the world today has been foretold in Revelation. It's only a matter of time before God gets totally fed up with us. Personally, I wouldn't blame Him at all for taking all His blessings back. I guess that I’m a bit old fashioned, And that I still believe in right from wrong; But I also know the trail we’re taking, Is not the way to keep our country strong. It's time to go back to the basics, But I’m afraid it might be too late; Now that God has taken His sign down, I dread what’s to come, I fear for our fate. I won't miss this poor old world one bit; a much better place awaits us. God bless you Karla.

Very powerful, and very sad, Karla. And it really does seem to be a huge struggle these days to keep faith in humanity. In fact, it seems harder all the time, but I guess we must press on, and maybe one day, things will get better.
