Karla you have what matters most, and that is the good Lord, thank you for sharing this, we can not let the worldy ways experience the joy we feel because Christmas is in the heart, we are celebrating the birth of our Savior. I will be sending you a letter soon from our new address, right now my brothers down there, and I am up here getting stuffed situated that way we can clear out the old house and Sean can be setting up furnite in the new, the Lord will bless you as he has us I believe that

I will bet that you truly have the spirit of Christmas in you, but for whatever reason you're just letting off some steam. Heck, it's not even Thanksgiving - of course, we don't have to wait until them to be thankful. Gotta' do it everyday.
Holidays always bring out both the wordst and best in people especially Christmas which is why we have to be more thankful we have Him to keep us from bitterness and cruetlty of acting like others.
Ahhh but dear friend if you and I reach out to help just one person this Christmas whether it be to visit a senior in a nursing home or babysit a child so a mother can go shopping...maybe we can start a chain to reverse the trends...
I hope to have one Christmas, just for once a little one, with good news and better people doing God's giving things to take care one of another in peace.

Holidays bring out people with lots of money for shopping. Theives have no heart. They have black hearts and could give a care about anything besides their alcohol or drug fix. To me, they;re some of the worst criminals around. Put them in lockup and let them steal from one another.

At least we will have a Christmas--somehow we will. We always do. We need to learn to count our blessings, be thankful for what we already have: each other, our health (such as it is LOL), our friends at AD and elsewhere, a roof over our heads, food in our belies--sometimes--, God's love...He's been good to us, even in our darkest times; this is when He's at His Best because He blesses us, somehow, some way.
