Thank you, Kate Burnside, for inspiring this!

Poem Artwork

These hips don't lie.  Of
course, they don't twist in
tornadic fashion,
either.  They kind of ...
stop ... in their forward
motion.  Real sexy,
that.  These tonsils don't
sing, have a voice that
m e l t s like butter on
the ears.  'Course not!  They
croak like frogs dying
a slow and painful
death.  These boobs don't bounce.
Of course, they went south
while I stayed north of
the border.  F i g u r e s.
Some people have all
of the moves, the luck ...

:))))))))))))))))))))) But at least we can oggle and appreciate what might have been... and even tell ourselves it was how things USED to be... proving that we have fancifulness to add to our long list of the besetting signs of old-age! But hey! We are alive even if we're not up to kickin, right? And for someone who has physical malaise as a challenge each and every day of your life, to be able to count blessings and appreciate the gift of life in the wonderful ways that you do adds forward momentum and oodles of daggone sexy swirl and swagger... to say nothing of curvaceous inches... to the gorgeous anatomy of your darling persona! Your light and humour will NEVER fade or sag, Honey! :)) Thanks for the encore of enjoyment Shakira-style here, Love, Kate xx

Yep, yep - growing old can "bite!" But what the heck, we still have life.

Being in Vegas right now, I see a lot of 'hip action'. And even though most of the boobs around here aren't south of the border, they still don't bounce...
Thanks for the laughter!
