Great poem Karla, lovely voice to it -made me smile - they say life begins at 40, why they should say this i don't know - being alive has been amazing so far - 'sure beats the alternative' :o) Nicky V.2 xx new model, aged and improved :D

Karla, I love this and feel the same way. Can't believe that now and then I get gout--I'm not exactly Henry the VIII! But there's a small malfunction in ye olde kidneys. . . ridiculous!

Great lines and quite inclusive of those of us of a certain age. But hey--I'm still out there earning aches and pains in my kayak!

I guess we'll just all grow old together...my gray streak in my hair seems to be growing wider, as well as other aches and pains in various parts of my body...ah, I'm just glad to be here! Great write my friend!
