The white arrows, silent, pointing straight up to Heaven's gate. Memorials to our fallen heroes. What compensation in kind can we offer up to them? Your tribute runs through the unanswered questions in my mind. JMW

And there are so many of those white crosses to Honor scattered across the battlefields of earth...such touching imagery here with the silent "clouds" now in contrast to the thunder of war planes then...and the daughters' tears of rain. You're so good short!
