I think that others' kind reviews feel so good because it is an affirmation that what we love to do, we should indeed be doing. The feedback is confirmation that we're filling the niche we ought to be. And you, Karla, write from the heart and touch many others' hearts in the process.
I think that a lot of us feel this way, Karla, and honestly we each probably write for outselves anyway; it is our expression and something we must do. Each writer has their own style and flare and when we read, I think we lock into that and feel a comfort just as we do when we read novels by a certain author..we love and relate to their style of writing. So it is with your poems, Karla, you put your heart and soul into them and we feel this when we read you.

I think you're way better than a lot of poets here, Karla: you put your sweat, blood, tears, heart into every word; it shows in your wonderful pieces!
