Poem Artwork

... freshly washed toeses
(that smell like roses)
-- a bath works wonders.
And poor sore noses,
sick rhyming proses
make me feel under
the weather.  Before
this gets worse, no more
silly writes of sick --
so I'll shut the door,
and you won't get bore(d) --
having colds is ICK.

It's great how you can be so creative when you're not feeling well, Karla. I admire that. Me...I'd be curled up with a book & my box of tissues, trying hard not to use my brain. LOL:) Feel better.

Paul's advice is sound. It works every time! I would add "and get lots and lots of sleep." Hope you get to feeling better soon but, in the meantime, keep giving your crud its own Karla-voice! Rebecca

I've had the feeling of having a fever with me for the whole week, and my left nostril stay dry and painful, right up to my forehead, giving me a headache everyday. Not really sure what's going on.

Good write. Take care and get well soon.

Hugs,

Sandie Angel :o)

Cute write Karla. Try this; it works for me every time. Take a shower as hot as you can possibly stand it. DO NOT, I repeat; DO NOT turn on the bathroom exhaust fan. Let the room fill up completely with steam and breathe it in deeply. Stay in the HOT shower as long as you can and continue to breathe (duh, ya think?). Then, DO NOT turn the water to cold. Turn the water completely off and stand in the steamed up room for another 5 minutes. Yes, you can dry off if you'd like. Try it; I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much better you'll feel. Continue to do this each day (or more if you want). You should be back to normal in just two or three days. Let me know how it works for you. Hope you feel better and God bless.
