... feet making a fearsome noise. ....

Poem Artwork

The sky is furious:  it mutters and
     stomps around, feet making a
          fearsome noise.  It throws pillowed
clouds aside in its fury, tossing them
into the four winds.  And I, under,
duck, while capturing its tantrum in
     poetry, photography and now, video:
a PorchChaser's job is never done.

Karla, This is a great picture and the words give me the chills. I keep saying how much I love storms and wild weather, as I sit in the California sunshine. Beautiful. e

you capture so eloquently in your poetry and photography is

No wonder it's a storm where you are! It's so calm at -8 this evening here in Scotland. But just remember when your skies are tame; ours are angry, loud and aggressive.

I'm watching some of those furious clouds right now and wondering if I dare take my five mile stroll. Your descriptions of the sky are really good.

Viva la PorchChaser :-)

Sometimes I think that the weather down there is so dramatic just because it knows you will take its picture :-)
