Karla, your message is convincing and profound -- it is so because it comes from your heart and soul, the heart and soul of a compassionate Amercan -- your passion for the preservation of mankind and love of those that were duty bound voluntairly, 'til death released them, from their sacrifices for humanity -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael
I read this after returning from a service for the wive of a sailor/aviator who's helicopter crashed many years ago off sable. the Navy is taking her ashes out to be reunited with him in a burial at sea service. This poem brought back to me anyway the dangers and risks are serviceman face in wartime and in peace. Great jub Karla,
