... taking pen in hand, i stab the
messenger in the heart again ---
again --- in a desperate attempt
to shut out the laughter ringing
in my eyes. damn them. is this
how they all got their start, the
wordkillers, saying that my lines
would be better off dead?? ---
i throw the body down: it hates
no more. i have what it takes to
be great --- they just don't know
it. i'll write and write until they
publish the mad.rantings of a
poet or i run out of ink --- one of
the two. i. will. wait. and see ...

Oh, this must be the one you're referring to! I like it! Not necessary to know "where" it came from. It came from you, face it! "my lines/would be better off dead...." I love that! (not true, though). I would take off the three words "to be great." just end with "what it takes." stabbing the messenger - your inner critic, or others . -- is great too. Did you know your snow picture has two breasts? Thus, you are REALLY baring your soul (and whatever else) here! YOU GO GIRL!
