a melon ---- whoops, that was
OctoMom, birthing eight more.
New President! New hope for
change among the rising flood
of financial crisis, mistrust, loss
of homes, jobs ---- all w e got
was more worries and he gets a
Nobel peace prize while we're at
war. The enemy closing in on
every side, maybe even in your
own backyard. Fort Hood??
Guantanamo in Illinois?? And a
stealth government flies under
the radar, passing health care
reform the people don't want ---- t h e y exempted themselves from
the public option: will be a bitter
pill to swallow. And a boy in a
balloon supposedly flew above
it all. We lost stars we thought
would shine forever ---- Brittany,
Farrah, Ed, Patrick, MJ, Dom,
Walter, Paul Harvey just some
of the sad stories. Swine 'flu!
And viral videos. Some rose
above: Susan Boyle. Sully and
the Miracle on the Hudson ----
rest of the news too depressing
or stupid to think about. Was a
hard year for far too many, not
just here, but all over. All I got
to say: Man. Am I glad that's over. This is a new start. Let's
not mess this one up as well ....

Good way to capture the year--we need to turn our country around, bend our knees to the God upon which our nation was based, or I fear there will be more of the same. God's judgment is never intended to punish, but to turn us back toward Him. Maybe 2010 will be the year we learn. God bless you and keep on writing.

I think we need to make a plan and follow it through to make 2010 the best that we can. I realize there are certain things we have no say over, but most of the time when we think back are brought on by our own actions. I wish you the best in 2010 Karla.

Me, too, believe me! God help us; let's hope 2010 is a lot better (although with that clown in the White House, I fear for our country now more than ever!)! Well done; brava, Karla!

Great recap of a year that didn't do me too many favors (foreclosure of house, bankruptcy, lost car, health and deaths) but you know Karla when I look back, I see the smiling faces of my grandchildren and all the ones who love me and then feel my pulse and say yep...made it through another one...
