The Fallen are always standing tall and among those who love, respect, honour and revere them, Karla. Mental Souvenirs are the privelege of those close to the lost but none of us can ever forget when the number of that toll continues to rise daily all over the world. We will remember those who serve to keep us safe and free and are forever in their debt. xx
A military funeral is powerful in its simplicity, eloquent in its honesty, and a sorrowful reminder of how very much farther we must go before we will ever realize that organized killings do not make them more humane. The honor is in fighting to end them, and that is why we honor those who make the sacrifices.
