This is about how the rainforest has been destroyed so rich people can have a nice backyard.
The rainforest The birds were singing and the sun was shining, the monkeys were howling loud, The river was flowing and the fish were swimming,As the flamingos were standing proud. A very light drizil was falling down, as a Jaguar crouched on the ground, A majestic leapord climbed a tree,as if he had a crown, while a green hummingbird full of life, lively buzzed around. The animals fluttered around so naive and clueless, as they bounced around in their own little way. And up came a giant plow that started to supress, a lush garden so beautiful and fresh. Now the monkeys have no home. Its all because of you too. Now i always try to do my best and i always will hope that you will too.
The rain forest is a marvelous place, and you've penned a marvelous poem here, Martha. We all truly need to do as much as we can to save them, even here in America. We have some magnificent rainforests, too, but they are being destroyed far too quickly now.

This is a very nice poem. Some of the rhyming is easy word rhyming but kida catchy though. I love how you have it soundign so serine and peaceful than all of a sudden have a major dissruption and bring the point at the end about how it its mankinds fault in a easy way at the end. I think you could expand on it though. Have more on how beautiful and majestic the land and creatures are than have a brutle stop and end a distrection of thier homes. Anywase I like it it is very good. Keep working hard to spread the message.
