I had a memory but she had a picture I had the words but she had a figure I was quick but she was much quicker I was bright but she was the light she caught him in her golden glow he cut the strings and let me go. I never was one for things of class don't have money or a taste for caviar I know nothing about business or politics but let me tell ya, I knew about loving you say you cared but I have my doubts I say I can't survive and you don't believe me she sat and watched my image pass with her smug smile, she watched me hit my ass. I had a memory but she had a picture I had the words but she had a figure I was quick but she was much quicker.

april, this is so right...it just feels like a feeling we all know or have known, only consolation is that we sometimes find the memory to be better than the reality
