cosmos of multi colors in bloom
delicate petals upon sturdy shoots
sway to the wind with feathery fronds
uncurled balancing liberating essence
colors alive speak up for truths
serving to expand and extend
connections of the heart and throat
releasing deep beliefs
a full expression of the divine self
 
there purpose strives not
for discomforting thorns
resembling much more the wild flowers
they actually thrived more when neglected
gazing at them today in the garden
swept into daydreams and daze
reality becomes what we imagine
reasons why were lost emotions
tangled in roots on the way
 
deep in the stillness
of the sun warmed soil
the earth worms wriggled and tilled
aerating the nurturing substance of caring
where kindness and compassion are felt
dew drops of moisture secrete in the burrows
life force energy sent though the shoots
pigmenting the flush of vivid colors
awakening the fire of the cosmos
