Beltane the half way of equinox spring and summer solstice its a bright glowing fire magical in its ancient rites beauty, pleasure, abundance graced to those who seek its sacred, intimate energy May Day queens and Jacks in Green radiate their goodwill faces the solar lunar cycles smooth the lavender blooms and poetry wafts the fairies and spirits of wood winding ribbons of braided souls water loves fire and earth mates air chanting “blessed be” to vitality healing rhythms of winters drain celebrating spring and all her rain this lion purrs and combs her mane while you light a candle for this Beltane
This sure has me purring, Debby... I had no idea about this Beltane stuff and I have just celebrated my 50th on the 4th, on the day that Saturn appeared so close and bright in the sky and the picture of me pointing at it shows my fingers almost on fire, captured in some eery light! :)) A wonderful mix of pastoral, spiritual and cultural references here, and, for Earth Girls like me, time to kick off the shoes and go hug a tree!
