photo - Osprey
taken in eastern Oregon near Baker City
concentrated she stares into imagined gates dimensions beyond the galactic edge alert, intense, awake as Venus falls and deconstructs wings open wide with a power glide that takes her from the earth to sky sweet mystery emptiness is a presence of unknown progression tests the water excitement and its courage reigns of regal power did you build that nest or was it kindly shared you, majestic tapestry of life tenderly you are embraced
I want to say you have captured the spirit of the Osprey so precisely, and this is the only way this wonderful creature should be captured....Mrs. Rosenberg!!!!!! Soooooo beyond happy for your happiness....always.
Smiling for you both...
Love,
Taylor
Their nests look like fortresses. Amazing constructions! You capture the mystery and majesty of the Osprey well Debby. We have a nest similar on Lake Murray where I live. Egrets inhabit that one though.

They are certainly cool birds, we have them here. Once I watched one hover above the water and then dive coming up with his prize. I never knew any bird could hover except a hummingbird...until that time..How beautiful it was.
Smiling for you both...
