A  busy office, oblivious to the date,
                  we forgot the day of the year
                When jokes are made.  The first day of April, and
                     what  fools we were, to forget the prankster
                                  with jokes always came.

His wife loved to bake, and always made us
brownies, candy, and cakes.  A fantastic
cook, we always knew something good
would come when Mike bought in a plate

He brought in a plate of his wife’s wonderful
wares.  They were always so delicious, but
he should have put a sign up “Beware!”
 We started to eat, but this had to go.   The
chocolate candy was Styrofoam!

A disgusting thing to have, but a good
April  fool  joke.  He said “got you”
But the joke was on him when one person said,
“This is delicious!" and ate two.
