Independence Day, 4^th of July  
A warm summer’s eve      
Brilliant colors fill the ebony sky
Red, blue, yellow and green
Ooh and aahs from all the crowd
Joyful feelings from all around

But in back of the man-made colors,
Something else glows,  so special but
a secret the crowd will never know. 
A rare harvest moon so large and round
No one paid attention, it was never found

Soon the fireworks were over, time to go home
Man’s show was brilliant, but God’s rare gift
Much brighter shown, no one saw it,
it was there all alone.
