Dr. Bonnie’s Demise

Oh the trials and tribulations of Dr. Bonnie and Ed. Me thinks she thinks he's kind of cute. What's that saying about making strange bedfellows?

Poem Artwork

Dr. Bonnie’s Demise

Dr. Bonnie’s started to get a little edgy with all the Ed’s runnin around here.
She barely made it out alive last time and to settle her down it took many a beer.
Dr. Bonnie never even drinks; she’s been a tea totter since she was small.
But even the happy pills didn’t help after the bondfire, so she had to try it all.

I wished those Ed brothers weren’t so bad ‘cause I think they’re kind of cute.
But after near drowning, insults they threw out, I now think they’re all brutes.
So I sat in my living room discussing plans with my broom swinging friends.
We were trying to agree how to obliterate the Ed’s, so this feud would end.

We talked about tar and feathers and even about reinstating public hangins,
We were just about to make our decision, when we heard a lot of bangin.
Well, if it isn’t my old patient Ed, who was standing at my front door.
“Will you help me with this *&.#^ headache, I can find no cure.”

Dr. Bonnie has her idiosyncrasies, like whackin people on the head.
But she does have her good moments, so let’s think of those instead.
Now Dr. Bonnie was a big woman and she had a big heart to match.
She saw the severe pain Ed was in, so she instantly unhooked the latch.

Maybe this was a new beginning and the end to that pesky war.
When a sudden shot rang out, hit her big heart
And she fell through the blasted floor.

Dr. Bonnie’s Assistant

Excellent end or is it? You win all the points!!
You can reincarnate...maybe as an ED. Then join the enemies...you know the rest.

Did Dr. Bonnie let Ed get to her? For shame! Stomp on him, trample him! Did you see what he just wrote about you? Get off the floor and fight!

These stories are fantastic and I agree...should be made into a poetic cartoon series.... (is that unique or what?).....uuuhhhhh, except..... Dr. Bonnie cannot die missy... if she's to remain the heroine in this saga..... she needs a cape or something....like hot pink or fuschia, etc.... (something that will clash with the red)... but missy... you gotta do something about those darn shoes... like... maybe add some siren sexy all glass heels... like the strippers use when on the pole....and... she should have a double life.... you know.. make use of those XXXXM's she's got handy... like sometimes she should harness herself with some rhinestones here and there too... wow... we could make 700 billion...(notice I said...WE).....lindalaw

Well, if ol doc bonnie is gone & six feet under,
I guess the news flash that was posted might be a blunder,
But the newspapers just had to flash it about,
Now that she is gone there will certainly be a rout,
We can only hope her broom swingin'friends,
Don't send to all of us a malady such as gout...Ed
