Haunting music skipping thru my mind
Eerie in its familiarity
Wildwood flower strummed on an old
Flat
box guitar
too far back to really remember
I feel it instead
Somewhere inside me
Running thru my body like the blood in my veins
Music of my past
Forming a collage of thoughts
That never quite complete
And never quite stop
Always there
Past and present
Blending in perfect harmony
Music of then and now
Form the background of my life
A perfect palette
On which to blend my future colors
Tones and hues
An artistic symphony
Playing the song
Simply titled
ME
