In the rain,
Tears do not show.

In the rain,
Sobs do not carry.

In the rain,
Looks do not count.

In the rain,
Trees bend to stroke.

In the rain,
Screams are whispers.

In the rain,
Creeps do not ess to curbs.

In the rain,
Swimming comes natural.

In the rain,
Insults do not shatter.

In the rain,
Faith is not a mystery.

In the rain,
dirt washes off.

Skin velvets skin, banishing hurt
In the rain.

During the summer, I often go outside in a rain storm and let the healing drops cleanse my mind and heart. I love your rain poem, it brings back memories of my carefree days... thank you for reminding me!
