My precious Grandaughter is 12, will be 13 in Feb. I wanted to write a tribute to this special child who's made such a difference in my life. Nana loves you Brooke!

Poem Artwork

She lights up my world
This grandchild of mine
Precious to me
She's one of a kind
She brightens a room
When she walks in
The stars shine brighter
Than they've ever been

She doesn't realize
That she's my world
That the moon rises an shines
On this sweet little girl
It saddens me to see
She's growing up fast
The innocence of childhood
I know it won't last

I wish I could shield her
From the pain and tears
Take away each worry
She'll have through the years
I know there'll be sunshine
Along with the rain
I love her so much
Words could never explain

One day she will marry
Make a life of her own
I pray God will bless her
As the years move swiftly on
She doesn't realize
That she's my world
That the moon rises and shines
On this sweet little girl

I love this Linda. What a beautiful tribute to your granddaughter. My grandchildren are still very young and live so far, but they are a true blessing to me. May God bless you every day of your life.
