Green leaves
Getting ready for fall
Not wanting
To change their attire
At all...
The temperature
Starts dropping
The winds march in
Like soldiers on the attack
The sun is lower in the sky
Green leaves of summer
Ready to retreat-
To a new wardrobe
With colors complete

The fall is my favorite time of the year and I like the way the paintbrush of nature smears the backdrop of hills!

Waiting on the retreat, to see these scenes that write!

Enjoyed!!

I love to walk through the woods and admire the colors (the trees' new wardrobe). You expressed the process of the leaves changing so nicely.

Love ya!

Once again, I am reminded about the fall color that I miss so much. An interesting way of expressing the way leaves change into a new fall wardrobe.

I would think the leaves would "want" to change into the beauty which happens every fall.

I can't wait for that lovely Fall Wardrobe Show to begin, and I plan to take it all in, at a place just like the one depicted in your marvelous graphic.

This is a fine lyric, penned with heart and soul.
The picture is a lovely piece of this gestalt.
