'Going nuts . . . '

Poem Artwork

Was in Med School - Tertiary Ed

Had a lot of time and money invested

Final day, Med Exam - had to pass

Sat down, "No wondering eyes!"

Came to a difficult question, I pondered

Many minutes went by - "How many

bones are there in the hand?" The whole

time a squirrel had been listening.

He was perched on the window ledge

I said, "What are you doing here?" He

looked and me and stated, "There are

5 bones in the hand!"

I wrote that down on my exam paper

Got the results the following day - I

failed! Boy, was I aggrevated! Went

looking for that squirrel, with a vengeance!

Looked high and low all over campus

Finally found him - "You stupid squirrel,

there are 27 bones in the human hand!"

"I just flunked out of Med School!"

"Oh, I thought you meant how many

bones are there in a squirrel's hand!"

"What am I gonna do now?" came

to mind - squirrel souffle'!

I have to agree with Ed, Lance. The squirrel answered from his/her perspective. LOL Thank you. Love and peace,
