Regis this is Heart wrenching. The way you have the way the heart darkens is remarkable. tears putting out all the stars. Just answer me with telepathy. This is aboslutely amazing and so sad. written truly from a darkened, broken heart. Are they still the same? Good question.

i may have missed you friday but i wouldn't have missed this for the world, it is one of the most romantic, wistful poems i have read in a long time and the form you use flows off ones tongue...this is truly excellent poetry
How DO you do this, Regis?! Even in the most disarming of apologetic, you are totally sincere, totally lucid and vulnerable. Totally brilliant diamond-write as usual that emites piercing rays straight into heart and mind - even whilst you express feelings of being, perhaps, "dulled by pain". Your poetry is never a blunt instrument... I am reminded that diamonds are in fact used in some way in the performing of heart surgery: can't figure quite how, but your words seem to have the same effect!
