Spot on, Regis, and, far from being "forced", you cut through all the sadly hackneyed "tinsel" focus that the Bethlehem scene tends to conjure up, and renew its truth and vigour with the "muscular" sentiments that you rightly attach to it. Bravo!! Not an easy thing to accomplish, but needless to say, you have done it in your inimitable style. You transcend the "ephemeria" of Christmas with the apocalyptic and prophetic last two lines: certainly gives us the right perspective! TY and PEACE truly be yours - now and always. LOL Kate xx

Regis thank you for sharing this, it is not forced, but felt from the heart, the yearning for peace that we all feel especially when celebrating remembrance of a savior called the Prince of Peace.

I always find acrostic rhyme amazing if it is cleverly constructed. Yours is perfect! What amazing talent you have Regis. The poem is one that I would love to print and keep with your permission. I'd like to print a copy for each of my family to remind them what Christmas is really about.
