I've read this as dawn was breaking, waiting for the dancing of Eos in the Sun, Was this poem a dream? You left it to our imagination, that's for sure.

You awaken
You think
In the moment
Before dawn comes of age
The sun a mere surreal hue
Behind dark hills in the east
You are on the edge
Balanced on a filament
Between darkness and light
Hell and heaven
These are great lines here Regis. Mastefully done!!!
Feelings FELT are real ... whether the rest is might be debatable. Would it matter? As long as one is content and it does no harm, let things rest in comfort :)!
Beautiful poem and art ... as always :).

These are more like visions into our souls. There are lessons to be learned if we can decipher them..."seemingly seeks to split your soul"...they can be quite frightening! An excellent interpretation, Regis. The language is strung as tight as that filament.
"Was it really just a dream?" That's the question
right. Great piece!

Filled with exceptional imagery and it’s a wonderful poem. Excellent work, Regis.
Heart-stopping and mind-splitting, Regis, I just love this poetic capture of a specific moment in time that miraculously recurs day after day! So often, we miss "the" moment and have hazy ideas that the dawn is a rising, sinuous colour-stream. But, as you so well imagise here, it is a sharp rending of light and dark asunder when that split-second moment happens. Thank you for reminding me again of this fantastic truth which I wish I was alert enough to seek out more often! This is strong and powerful and very well conceived. TY Kate xx
I love the imagery here, you must definitely dream in colors, although you have some wild dreams buddy...I like the title for this one, it seems to fit quite naturally...Ed & Rufuz
Don't we!!! So many times, I have awakened knowing it was, somehow, more than just a dream. Very nice, as always, when I visit your den, Regis.
