INTERESTING AND ENTICING. REPETITIVE LINES ARE NOT AT ALL BORING, BUT LEADS ONE FROM ONE LINE AND VERSE...TO ANOTHER...WITH ANTICIPATION. WELL WRITTEN AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS, LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Regis,
I think any lady would be very lucky to do all of the above with you except of course the dying part. In my book you are simply marvelous. Wow! you sure have a way with words.
Beaucoup d'amour,
Nicole
It's great to read your poem and feel the intense emotions and the frankness that comes across. Lucky lady who this is meant for. So as a "newbie" here; it's been fantastic to see the inner souls of men again and to see that they can be so similiar to us strange creatures such as we are. Thanks, Regis for sharing this intimate, heartfelt write. Love from Meredith

Regis,
how great to read another write of yours!
Keep up the good work,my friend!
It came from the Heart of Poetry that formulated an Inevitable Utterance (I have been taught that there ARE such things) and just HAD to find a voice - and no wonder she chose yours', Regis. From a spirit of arrogance, this would have come across as hard and proud; but from the soft and sensual beauty of your loving and compassionate soul, this is melting, vulnerable and sincerely longing. It is also perfect in metre, rhythm and concept. It just HAD TO BE WRITTEN! Musical yet rock solid on the page. I love this! So glad you "gave in to it", like a true artist. TY and Bless you, Kate xx
Great. I liked it when I only read the last line of each stanza, when I only read the first two and when I read it all together as you posted it. ~ Sara
Regis I can feel the beat and hear the tune. I change the "would you" to "wouldya" tho. Now I know this rhyme is going to stay in my head! How about a chorus?
'Boy I think about you all of the time
You're the world going 'round in my mind
Time and tide may have taken its toll
But we can take this rock and make it roll'
No I Would Not Like To Die With You Or Anbody Else,i.e I Know Where I Go Before I Die--Very Few Human Beings Will Be There With Me_
But: If (God) Let's You See (Us) Me --You Will See Millions Little (Dead) Children Sticken Their Tongues Out Or Fingers Or Who Knows What They'll Do To You Humanity,i.e. Revenge ...
Very original, I like your style here Regis
wonderful one as always
The last stanza is simply amazing

Good stuff- the best part although we feel as though the people are just meeting, this could be about any couple at any stage in their relationship as they change and grow, and I think it is much easier for some to let go, rather than hold on to love through ups and downs, thick and thin, especially in our throwaway, grass is always greener society.
Sometimes Bro. Regis. . . the call of the rhyme just has to come out and be heard. Nothin' at all wrong with accepting 'walk-in muse'.

p.s. This is really performance poetry that would make an audience smile and go "ahhh" inside.
This is interesting! It seems to me it is the female ego that has just met her alter ego. It says to me "sub-personality." We all need to meet our real selves. Nice duality prose, Regis!
The higher you go into the hills, the deeper the secrets...
A seemingly innocent piece of mail shatters the illusion of Beverly Hills luxury, forcing a terrifying statement from a powerful action movie mogul: "they can't kill us fast enough."
In the waning days of World War II, a man lies injured in a London hospital, shrouded in mystery and confusion. He is an American serviceman, stripped of his identity and memories, save for the name John, and plagued by vivid visions of battles that
Goldie's daughter Chili Pepper leaves the Flirting With Food TV show & moves to Portland Oregon as Executive Chef at a new restaurant. But there is a rash of murders, all in the Pettygrove mansion where she lives with roommates.
