an ardent time like an unexpected summer storm lightning thunder chased the butterflies from the flowers into secret hidden spaces quieted the birds hushed the wind birthed a rainbow and then the afterstorm the fallout from such fire and passion unfettered now the embers ever glow the ashes never chill nor ever will you lit the fire within me no matter how much snow falls now winter's come ever will the soil be warm and ready to erupt when you and i are

Is this the poem you referred to in the post of 2006?
The birth of love...trepidation. It is my ardent hope you are not a "silver-tongued devil", my friend. I have known this time myself. It has sometimes been the hush before a storm/ and I have left my own few , true, crying into the wind
as if in the trail of tears. enough said.
YOUR PHRASES AND IMAGERY PAINT A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE OF PURE, SWEET PASSION THAT ERUPTS WHEN TWO BECOMING ONE. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Wow, I really like this Regis. Equating passion and sexuality with the beauty of nature which to me makes it sacred (sexuality, I mean). There are not many expressing the sacredness of sexuality. Unfortunately, I think it is because many people are not experiencing the magic of love beyond the romance. There is nothing like coming full circle.
Of course, I would choose different pictures for my expression ;-)
Regis: Ah, such lovely ending, "Now winter comes...ever will the soil be warm and ready to erupt...when you and I are one." This poem radiates the passion within the heart and soul and so well written. I'll have to read more of your poetry because I can feel a real human in this piece.
Just beautiful, I do believe there is true love for each and everyone of us, if we would just take the time to let the embers glow in our hearts. Thanks for sharing your passion. Rose

Many lightworkers respond to awakening in such a storm of passion as you have here described with these words. Once one has felt this heat, it is never forgotten, no matter the cold winds of darkness.
Your words evoke a wondering within me... is this a description of your crossing dimensional boundaries? No matter. A love shared by two is an awareness of the unconditional love from our creator. You have now shared with us in exquisite form... thank you!

Lovely poem. It's a bite sized poem but oh so complete. JM
Extremly well expressed...passion it is indeed! How we long for it...how we suffer with it...how we embrace it...so very well described in these words. Wonderful write, Reg.
"Passion" is truly inspiring and wonderful poetic. Thanks for sharing your gift. My best, Gloria
PS No I don't believe I've received your email message.
Our greatest passions come with love, as you've proven in this most auspiciously penned poem, Reg. Such a romantic poem, that caresses the readers soul...
Just as with so many times, you work leaves me breathless. And I so deeply relate to this beautiful poem. So many of us have a deep, abiding, passionate undercurrent... that simply waits to be released. And only a select few can truly evoke that ultimate release within us. We know who they are; they know who we are; and when that release is achieved in a perfect, synergistic, mutual manner; there is NOTHING more spectacular nor more memorable - it is in that instant that we achieve the closest thing to nirvana, perfection and immortality that we every weill achieve in this waking world. -- Jeff
WOw. This is great...so full of passion. I love this one and the imagery that is portrayed here. Winter is sure coming and when with that special someone...really warms up the room.
Wow, you were really receiving the inspiration channel when this was broadcast.
We're lucky we have you to relay it our way.
"Passion" is the perfect title, and I could sure feel it growing all the way through.
Thanks for the heads up.

I just read your poem and I am impressed with the wroding and imagery. As for your trakcers, I don't know if I can help you. I did clear mine becasue they were taking up space in my e-mali box. Sorry that you're having trouble.
Very passionate and sensual write Regis...I love the last line...when you and i are one. That's just how a relationship should be as one. Too many today are wrapped up in themself and seem to forget that they have a partner. My friend if more couples felt as passionate about each other...I am sure that the divorce rate would decrease. You are a very talented and sensative artist my friend.
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling
My favorite lines:
the embers ever glow
the ashes never chill
nor ever will
They perpetuate the image of true, lasting love in a beautiful way.
My least favorite words:
such (an ardent time--I think you could have done without "such"; it seems weak as a beginning to this strong work.)
eventually (I felt this was just unnecessary, and the whole would be better without it)
You asked me once to criticize freely, so I hope you meant it.
Reg--what an interesting way to capture passion. A poem that interestingly draws attention to the reader. A true feeling of passion was depicted here. A masterpiece at best! Thanks. Jim

Of course the pulchritudinous images set a lush mood of visualizing wonderment and beauty, which also you undergird, seamlessly, with your words. I am reminded of a string of aesthetic vignettes that lead up to a beautiful climax of expression between two in the throws of passion.
The feeling you express is very distinctive of Canadian poetry in the way you employ evocative nature and seasonal imagery to reach your reader. Well done!
The heat and endurance of true passion pours from your verses, Regis, even though the intensity of longing tugs at each word. I don't believe that I was notified about this poem, though I have been very busy with holiday stuff and a house guest so perhaps I didn't catch it in my mail and tossed it off as an advertisement or something. Beautiful poetry!
Take care,
Sherry
Hi Reg. Hope they sort out your messaging system. 'Passion' leaves plenty of space for the reader to conjure up imagery as you offer it. I found it actually worked just as well even if you consider your passion to be an activity, such as writing for example, rather than that of two people. Makes it worth reading at least twice with a different focus in mind. It goes to show that you have left room in your poem for the reader to interact and even to interpret your words to fit in with their world.
Vividly descriptive, Reg, but at the same time not so prescriptive as to rob the reader of input. You should be very pleased with this one. Well done.

I want to write with the same kind of imagery as you have when it comes to loves poems, but I’m a little gun shy that the poem will will end up being commonplace...not so for this poem... you know, some might think that this poem is liner in its path, a straight line from beginning to end. Perhaps you intended the poem to be that that way. Actually, as I went back over it, I found there was more of a rhythm, like the ocean‘s tide. There was a roll and crash of passion in the beginning, but then a receding foam on the beach by way of the fluttering butterfly image. No doubt they are in retreat from the storm, yet there is the sound & image of thunder, white flashes, crashing like a wave. Then, the image of their wings, dainty against the motion (the image) of their wings moving on air in dips and lifts as they head to those "secret hidden spaces." So, that image to me is a little more action like the wave coming in again and then the lull of the wave going out to depths. Next image, back to the birds quieted from the dying wind, so for a moment I’m hearing the wind again and their silence after. Then there's the bated breathing from those glowing embers digested, but not taken over by winter. I always think of the way snow insolates all the city's clamor and noise... but then there is the snuggling in the afterglow...here comes another wave... See what I mean? Do you hear the rise and fall to your images in the poem's words? Or am I writing this because I’ve been up all night? Just joking!;o) It's very good! Keep up the wonderful work, it inspires me to write! Take Care & God bless you ~lnns
What a gorgeous expression of your beautifully romantic heart, Regis.
A perfect balance of tenderness and passion. And to think you speak French, too.. Gloire a Dieu!
And to top it all off, a very artful blend of graphics, Reg..Altogether lovely!
REG ---- SUPER WRITE! Sounds like you might have recently found a 'mate'?
I'm not really good at 'critiquing' the works of others. Like the old saying about art: "I know nothing about art - but I know what I LIKE!" While I would someday like to be remembered for my writing, it is more for prose, than for poetry. I know not the 'proper' intrinsics, like: rhyme, meter, foot, feet. iambic pentameter, sonnet, haiku - et cetera, ad infinitum.
I also am not a 'prude' when it comes to perfectionism, in anything, especially poetry. If something 'grabs my heart' and I 'get it' - SO BE IT ! Because 'poesy' usually comes from the depths of a person's soul, I believe it to be very 'personal' - and if only ONE other human being grasps the idea, concept, or feeling expressed - then, it is a SUCCESS!
Wish I could write such romantic poetry as you sir...but we all have our abilities & your ability is one of the tops in this category...thanks for the note, take care, Ed & Rufuz
