Beyond the compliment to Sarah I think there is much that describes what a "friend" means. Pearl means special. Confusion is often life itself and friends help to bring some peace. No illusion brings her to life. Heaven sent intrusion rather than indicating something negative reflects gratitude. I may be "over-reading" but there is a lot in these few lines.
