Oh Boy, It's Almost. . . hey what's that holiday again?

Celebrate! Celebrate! Dance to somebody's music. Maybe then the world won't go stark raving nuts between now and the brand new year.
I tell ya, the things people do to make an impression. I, for one, take the viewpoint that most broke writers take: "Live for the moment and write stuff down before it leaves your mind." Still, I don't mind planning for something that I feel is a pretty good risk.
Take for example, the risks of finding out that the give you gave to someone you really like was on the Good Will truck within a week of you having given it when you could have given it to yourself. Or the fact that someone still think that fruitcake in your stocking is the best way to say, "you're special." Then maybe it's just playing around with virtual bubble wrap whose creator must have been eating Spam late at night before dreaming this one up:

When it's too cold to go outside (for those of us lucky enough to live in towns with budgets so tight that one has to shovel one's way to the mailbox to get those holiday bills), that bubble wrap thing starts to look kind of interesting, (for writing junkies like me and thee.)
As for me and my house, I figure we deserve the gift of time together. Even if relatives only pretend to "love" each other one time during the year, I'll just try to keep doing what Jesus would do, make my mark on the world with a few words of wisdom, ignore those whose knowledge is of no use to my positive quest for success (i.e. cynics) and hope that Spam, the food of geniuses, is never on a recall list.
"So, Friend Cyn" you may ask, "What's the point I get out of this blog?" The point is there is no point. It's strictly impromptu, you know, like that "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" show. So when you get a divine revelation to figure out the secret message of this blog, please be kind and clue me in.
I'm going to take a nap now. Hopefully I'll dream about a world of non-commercial, unmaterialistic holidays where no one goes hungry on the planet.
So, Sweet Peace on what I wish was a Commercially Unpolluted Earth, and especially around your neck of the woods on the way to Grandma's house. Give her a hug for me will ya?
