We the American people find ourselves in the midst of the worst economic recession that most of us have ever seen in our lifetime.  Of course we have been in this recession for a while now but the powers-that-be have only recently admitted this.

As we brave these tough times we find ourselves in the beginning of tax season.  It is said that many more Americans will be filing earlier then previous years due to the fact that they need the refunds. I know I do.

In order to help with the daunting task of filing these returns there are many online companies that are ready and able to help us file our taxes.  I have written some reviews of a couple of these companies that I have personally used and I would love to share one of them with you:

Turbo Tax Basic

Over the course of a few months, Janurary through April to be exact, we are hounded by commercials for tax software, tax preparation services, and just about anything else that might be tax related. Turbotax is one such company that will entice you with promises of quick filing, accuracy and ease of use.

Many companies offer such claims. This company however, abides by it. They tell the truth when it comes to these claims. It is important to be careful and read many reviews when you are looking at tax software. It is after all, your taxes that you are dealing with. I do not know of anyone who wants to just jump at a company to do their taxes. From what I have heard the Internal Revenue Service is no agency to fool around with.
