If Puppy Isn't Happy Jeffy Isn't Happy ! 7/19/2010 6:44:38 AM
Okay guys so everybody knows that our 4 month old puppy was not making it inside, because she was looking at me as the alpha and she kept biting me, so she got moved out with our other dogs.
Well last week the dogs were getting along fine and we had our first storm since Chloe had been moved outside. Well of course she was a little scared so she was trying to get up onto the dog houses and pawing at the fence some. Jeff starts shaking his head and says the puppy isn't happy. I said,"Well she had everything in here and couldn't get along so I guess she is going to have to get used to it, she'll be fine."
Now if I am scared at night because a storm is coming Jeff says it will be fine and goes onto bed. Our household came to a screeching halt until he thought of how this problem could be fixed. The next morning he tells me he is going to have to move the shed up into the kennel so that they won't be able to see the sky if it storms. Well when he decides to do something that will make them happier there is no talking him out of it. He was taking a day off that day and him and our son carried the shed up to the kennel and he fixed the fence on each side of it so that Chloe would be happy. He worked eleven and a half hours on that project.
The next time it stormed Chloe just played in the shed and could of cared less. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! When we built this house I wanted the kitchen window to face the woods so that I could see deer back there walking around. Now my kitchen window looks right into the shed and I can see all of my dogs sleeping in there houses. I guess I have seen enough deer. After twenty-six years they all look alike anyway. Someday I hope to acquire the status that our dogs possess, but after that length of time I doubt if it will happen anytime soon. Later - Lori
