Our Daughter's Answer 10/5/2010 6:25:05 AM
Last Thursday our daughter had an interview at Hobby Lobby, which is Chrstian based business. I did not realize that. The man interviewing her asked how she ended up in Oklahoma and she explained that she had been on a mission trip when God called her to Oklahoma. She started to tell her story when he told her she was hired.
Yesterday was her first day. She said everybody was really nice. She was in pain though when I talked to her. She is used to moving around in her other job. Now she is a cashier, and her knees were locking up while she was working. She is just so against taking any medicine at all. I sent aspirin back to OK with her when she left here a few weeks ago because she was having migraines and I was afraid she would get one driving home. She is also anemic and the doctor had told her to take iron pills. She didn't listen and said she was eating red meat instead. I ask her what she had to eat yesterday. Her reply was chicken salad and two bananas. I threatened to sick her dad on her, she has four days to talk to a pharmacist and start taking the pills.
Sunday we went over to our one son's new house to watch the Colt's game. Last weekend they moved into their new house. It is such a neat house. Our son and his wife had been living with her grandparents for three months until they closed on the house. Our other son and his family were there, our daughter-in-law's grandparents, and my mother. We all had so much fun!
There little girl is about 18 months old. She had never been around stairs. She goes down on her rear one step at time. If she wants to go fast she straightens out like a sled. On Saturday morning she came down the stairs like that only she had a dirty diaper on and left her mark on every step of the champaigne colored stairs.
Family days spent with all of them is the most fun! Until Later - Lori
