My mother inherited my grandmother's house and property and my brother has been mowing there, because my father is slowly dying of kidney cancer. He has been on chemo for around a year and is more or less slowly starving to death, because chemo messes with your taste buds and nothing tastes right.
My mother has decided to sell the property, because she wants my dad to help her invest the money before something happens to him. Well my brother and nephew were there mowing and he decided to go and check the doors to make sure that they were secure. He turns the knob and the door opens right up. He goes and checks the other door and it opens right up. Since he did not want to surprise anyone he only looked in on the first floor, since his son was there so he locked the doors and left.
My brother is a fireman, a farmer, and a truck driver depending on what day it is. He went to get the sheriff so that if this person burns the house down with smoking in the house and leaving holes burned into the carpet my parents won't get blamed for setting the fire.
I guess mom was supposed to meet the sheriff's son to take pictures of the carpet and my brother in town. They all get there and mom cannot get the door opened, the key will not work. They try the other door and the key won't work there either. This person I suppose it is a guy CHANGED THE LOCKS!!! Now my mom can't get in. I told her someone should just board up the doors and lock him in. This week she told me that she thinks he is sleeping upstairs, because the windows have been opened up there. It has been really hot this week.
Every day you wake up you never know what the day may bring.
