It is Almost Time for My Transformation 8/1/2010 10:37:50 AM
Well we are back from vacation and did we have fun doing absolutely Nothing!!! I have sit in this house for 7 months thinking about going trying to get through chemo. I finally had one of my favorite foods since my treatments were finished, and it was okay. I have been afraid to go to any restaurant that served cheeseburgers, because I was afraid I would get sick just looking at one.
This week I should get my 6 week body makeover packet and I cannot wait. I need to change my life or risk getting cancer for the third time and I really do not want to do that. While I was gone I ate anything that sounded good. I even ate a whole cake in five days of which I have Never Done Before. I am pretty well sick of food which is really good, because I really love to cook. I only gained two pounds which is also a miracle.
While we were gone we went to some stores for something to do and watching people just spend money for no reason was a little sad. I bought some things for our house and dog treats for my Chloe Bear, Tally, and Taffy. We give over ten percent of what comes into our family to help the poor and people who just need a little help to get back on their feet. We do not live in an expensive house just a comfortable one. I have always stayed home with our children and have opted for not so many things compared to other people.
I hope if you have not invited Jesus into your heart by now you will surely think about it Today. People are running around trying to figure out what to buy next and things are happening in this world that I never thought I would see happen. Check out Dr. Jack Van Impe's website. This stuff is in the news almost every week now. Until you have lived the way Jesus wants you to live you have not. It is the most exciting thing to see how He works in people's lives! He wants the best for you and if you will just let Him guide your life you will never be sorry!!
