I have also read the the magnetic north and south of Earth have also shifted, and are contiuing to move. If and when they settle, then new north and south poles will be. That bbeing the case no wonder the ice caps are melting, they cannot stay because the polar caps have drifted so the temperature has risen. Call me a fool, but when I was a kid I used to love the old steam trains, now they are as guilty as sin because of fossil fuel burning.
