An Ode To A Special Flower

Inspite of snow and rain in March we have enjoyed,this year,
a true Spring.Its sunny blue skies greeting us daily.Easter
was a day of typical March weather:cold with sunny spells
and rain.Everywhere you travel around here from well kept
gardens in pleasant suburbia to grassy banks at the edge of
railway tracks and roundabouts on busy roads there is a
bright ,fresh golden crop of happy daffodills .Never have I
noticed them so much perhapse because this year there seem
to be an abundance of them.For me a radiant daffodil is
Spring itself ,personified .A metaphor for a happy optimism
and a toast to new life .
