I don’t think I can point to just one reason that I do,
All I know is when we met I fell in love with you.
If the reason was because, I loved the color of your hair,
As it turned gray you’d wonder, is my love for you still there.
If I just said it was your eyes that sparkle like the snow,
Then you may think my love will change when wrinkles start to show.
What it is I love about you, is something we can’t see,
It’s something not just part of you, it’s also part of me.
It’s what holds us together, and it's here in us to stay,
And it matters not what time may change, I’ll love you anyway.
I don’t love you for reasons, for they don’t always last,
And I will love you in the future, just the same as in the past.
Perhaps it is your love for me that feeds my love for you,
I don’t know why I love you, I only know I do.
