Jack, this is a wonderful write, although I must admit I have always had a little trouble staying within the lines, and besides aren't rules just written to be broken...I always found them a bit of a challenge ;-)

Beautiful, Jack. Living along the coast, I can relate. We have a 17 foot high seawall protecting the city of Galveston, Tx from the Gulf of Mexico's fury.
This poem is fantastic. I love it! We rhymers need to stick together. Have a great day!
