Two years have now passed since that day The pure blue sky turned black It seems our world forever changed There is no turning back Though time will pass and pass away Our memory never will From here on out we will recall The day the earth stood still The senseless acts of terror Claimed so many lives that day And those that carried out the act We know someday will pay As we recall those two great towers Their familiar silhouette Let�s make a vow to those who died Never to forget � Jack Roberts � August 29, 2003

I watched the airplane hit the second tower and both towers collapse. It was as if I were there; tears cascaded in disbelief. I doubt anyone would ever forget it. Great poem.
