Transcendental Sonnet #1149: Blood Oath for Silke and against M. H. God grant me now I face the beast To turn east worthy of my task Bear me aright as knight and priest And none need tell for none need ask God grant me now I death command My lips sealed as the gates of hell The sword of justice in my hand To wield it wise and wield it well God grant me now I face the beast The smirk be severed from his face Avenge my love as knight and priest Her honor saved through blood by grace Now coward stand and turn around Now weep your blood for hers hell-bound +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMIV Silke LLC
