Transcendental Sonnet #1196: The Thrill of Mystery Suicide would end my life with a bang But things might get better if I could hang Around long enough to wait for the end Who knows what fickle fortune might yet send My way today or tomorrow? Sadness And rain or sunshine and gladness again The sorrow of yesterday the madness Of it all keeps turning and suddenly There comes a miracle meant just for me Around and around and around it goes And what my end will be nobody knows Yet the intriguing possibility Of life unfolding just one perfect rose Leads me into the thrill of mystery +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMV Silke LLC
