Let the half-empty glass be seen as half-full
Although as illusion this might seem cruel
How after all one can nullify the null
As if placed in some nihilistic duel
As race to the bottom and oblivion
Curbside now that everything is gone gone gone
The glass my world however full or empty
So I prefer to see it as half-full now
The lotus and the wheel unfolding turning
My mind preceding my body in burning
Our betters know worse but know to not allow
For such complications as you or as me
Yet we end up being squeaking wheels and greased
Like pigs or lightning fast but slowly to learn
As we are to be the main course at the feast
Park it and leave it! That is what I get from this dear brother. There is truth in what you say though and we who live at the bottom have seen this truth in somany ways and at somany undesirable times. So we sit on the curb waiting for whatever it is that is coming along. A very validating write that leaves us thinking about our own personal space and existence.
