Busted Microwave Blues

My wife proclaims on occasion

I’m remarkably easy to confuse

So Silly me I can’t disagree

As I try changing this 20 amp fuse

The first step is trying to find it

The manual is no longer around

The other first step is to unplug the damn thing

So that I’m not the path to the ground.

220 volts is a good jolt of juice

Enough to get your attention

While I root in the heart of the microwave parts

Searching for the fuse I previously mentioned

Just six months ago I was watching the show

As the technician was working his magic

But inattention was there, now I don’t where

The fuse socket is located, how tragic

So now once again I get to spend the big dough

On a cheap part that he’ll install next week

I’m feeling quite lame as mechanic

As I paddle my boat up s*** creek
