Sighting!!!!!

 The California controversy rages on

I’m sure it’s related to the harvest moon

This evening I snapped a candid picture

Of the Peach Creature from the Black Lagoon

I know the image is a little hazy

You take the shot when you get the chance

Trying to capture a myth can be crazy

It’s a function of big foot romance

First my bird feeders all fell victim

To a slinky little saboteur

Now the peaches are all half eaten

By this Creature on his daily tour

I wouldn’t mind if he left me something

I’m perfectly willing to share the prize

But even when I’m up at dawn’s first light

I just chronicle the peach’s demise

So I’m stuck with a natural dilemma

The critters have all got to eat

And since I can go to the grocery store

I will graciously accept my defeat

For them it’s a matter of survival

They only do what they must

I’ll support local wildlife revival

Even if my harvest is a bust
