Reflections on Yesteryears

Crack on the far side of the moon Its crescent gently pointing Towards the mysteries of Venus Explorers working in pairs Sensitive probes indicate treasure But the bat cave has no vacancy A sudden flash of light blinds Accompanied by several taps On the steamy windshield Shining tin star revealed Venus winks goodnight The mission ends abruptly Copyright 2010 Patrick Granfors

Bat cave has no vacancy because it's filled with guano. I hear the FBI is investigating Michael Jackson impersonators doing the Moonwalk...I remember seeing Frankie Avalon sing Venus...
