My version of spring fever...to the tune "Nothing could be finer"

Photo:Redbubble.com

Poem Artwork

Nothing’s so intoxic

As the Vernal equinoxic

In the morning

Sol moving past the axis

Gently guided by Abraxas

In the morning

The Cosmos does a tap dance

Second fiddle to none

To jumpstart Mother Nature

And to welcome the sun

Oh

Nothing’s so intoxic

As the Vernal equinoxic

In the morning

Nothing has more meaning

Than the way the pole is leaning

In the morning

Focusing warm sunshine

On my face just makes me feel fine

In the morning

Geese are winging birds are singing

Flowers in bloom

Winter’s presence at the inn

Just ran out of room

Oh

Nothing’s so intoxic

As the Vernal equinoxic

In the morning

Oh, the eternal spring of life... how refreshing is thee? Without, we shall parish in the arms of lifeless color, decayed beauty and stale air.

Bravo, Patrick! Your choice of words are exquisite.

Intelligent Hugs~
