My neighbor planted a pine tree many years ago and it has grown to become yard dominant. This is the first year I noticed “offspring.” The two cones are each about the size of a large grapefruit. Ok, maybe the biology is not precise, but it reminded me of a magnificent pair of pine cojones.
lol I love this...it reminds me of my mother in law who used them in craft projects....perhaps one day I will leave her a copy at her grave just to let her know I remember ......
